A/V Viewing Room

 Print this Page

Facilities and equipment for viewing videotapes and DVDs are located on the Third Floor - Old Wing, in the A/V Viewing Room (Room 301-A). To use this room, sign out the key and the tape or DVD to be viewed at the Circulation Desk and return these immediately after use. There is a three-hour time limit per visit to use the viewing room.

Most of the library-owned DVDs and videotapes are cataloged and shelved in the Reserve area.  However, videotapes of first-year student moots from the past several years are kept in the A/V Viewing room itself. (The first-year moots from the current year are kept on Reserve.)

Viewers are expected to have some knowledge of how to use the viewing equipment since there may be insufficient staff available at certain times to provide assistance.

When not being used for A/V viewing, this room may be booked by law students as a conference room for ad hoc group study. However, priority will be given to those needing to use the viewing equipment in the room.

Students may reserve the viewing room (up to THREE (3) days in advance of when the room is to be used) in person or by telephoning the Circulation Desk (453-7983).
